Leah P. Zarek

Leah Page Zarek, 41, died the second week of March, 2016.  She was a beloved mother, daughter, and sister.

Leah most recently lived in Palmyra, PA but grew up in Mt. Gretna, PA, a place that held her heart.

She attended schools in Palmyra and Cedar Crest from which she graduated. She was also a graduate of Empire Beauty School.

Leah had a great love of animals always caring for injured birds and rabbits. She loved being able to return them to their natural habitat. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.

Leah is survived by a son, Ethan Edwin Zarek; a daughter, Ella Friedrich McMullen; a sister, Christina A. Zarek; and her mother, Nancy A. Zarek. She was proceeded in death by her father, Edwin J. Zarek. Leah was greatly loved!

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Mount Annville Cemetery, Annville.
