Laurel J. (Grizzle) Black

Laurel J. Black, 66, of Palmyra passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born January 29, 1958 to the late Samuel and Edith May (Green) Grizzle.
Laurel graduated high school and started her working career with the Hershey Company. She cherished spending time with family and friends always known as a “people person”. She loved to travel, shop and visit the beach. She will be remembered for her energetic and kind soul.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Black; two sons, Justin Boltz (Ali Moore) and Matthew Boltz; a granddaughter, Ava Boltz; siblings, Stephen Grizzle (Beatrice) and Mia Narayan (Lalu).
Family and friends are invited for visitation Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 11 AM to 12 PM with services to follow at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 25 W. Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Penn State Cancer Institute, 400 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033.
