Kirby Allan Gantz

Kirby Allan Gantz, 60, of Marietta passed away at his home on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Mary F. (Fitzkee) Gantz and the late Leroy W. Gantz. He was married to his loving wife of  31 years, Virginia M. (Heuyard) Gantz.

In his free time Kirby enjoyed electronics, playing with his remote control airplanes, and playing computer games.  He had a love of animals, which he passed down to his daughter.

In addition to his wife and mother, Kirby is survived by his daughter Angela M. Sams, wife of Robert, of Georgia, and two grandchildren Ethan and Keileigh Sams.

A visitation will be held from 5-7PM on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547. Burial will be private and at a later date at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
