Kevin Lynn Cox

Kevin L. Cox, Sr., 63, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lewistown, he was the son of Wanda (Donhey) and the late Samuel “Bob” Cox. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 35 years, Shirley A. (Eppley) Cox.

Kevin devoted 40 years of his life to serving others as a paramedic and was also a volunteer firefighter for Rheems Fire Department. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, target shooting, watching the TV show Cops, and following NASCAR, especially Bobby Labonte. Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his wife and mother, Kevin is survived by four children: John Hinkle, Kevin Cox, Jr. & wife Kaitlyn, Kyle Cox and fiancée Jamie Wright, and Keaton Cox and fiancée Caitlin Stokes; 15 grandchildren: Rylie, Trevor, Koltyn, Tyler, Brantley, Carson, Porter, Deacon, Kierra, Jonathan Jr., Shakira, Hunter, Kinslee, Cora, and Wrenlee, and sister, Lisa Werner & husband Bruce. He was predeceased by his sister Lynette McCurdy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A viewing will be held from 10AM until the time of service. Burial will be private at a later date.
