Kenneth Dale Ramsey

Kenneth Dale Ramsey, 88, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024 with family by his side at the Londonderry Village, Palmyra. He was born on Sunday, February 23, 1936 to the late Floyd I. and Marie L. (White) Ramsey.

Ken was a member of the Masonic Lodge #313, the Barbershop Chorus, and the Lebanon Singing Cedars. He was a member of the Palmyra First United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed singing and golfing. More than anything he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by his children, JoAnn Gorman and husband James, Judy Ramsey and significant other David Atkins, and Susan Schmehl and husband Jon; grandchildren, Matthew Gorman and wife Amy, Christine Atkinson and husband Paul, Laura Lazzaro and husband Nick, Ellen Hixon and husband Zachary, Adam Schmehl and wife Emily, Angelie Ramsey, Starla Ramsey; great grandchildren, Travis Hurley, Jr., Avett Gorman, Sophia Hurley, Adeline Gorman, Lucas Lazzaro, Simon Hixon, Sophia Lazzaro, Wesley Schmehl, and Cormac Atkinson. He is predeceased by his son Gregg Ramsey and brother, Roger Ramsey.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11 AM at the DiMattio Worship Center, Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Rd., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will be private at the Eutsey Cemetery, White, PA.
