During his high school years, he rose to prominence as a track, football, and wrestling star setting records and earning accolades that highlighted his athletic talents.

A proud veteran, Kolynn served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps, where his leadership and resilience were evident to all those around him. After his service, Kolynn cultivated a deep love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, spending countless hours on the open road, and making cherished memories with those he loved the most. He also found solace in beach and boating adventures, passions that he eagerly shared with his family.

Kolynn’s greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn Peters, and his children and step children; Kristopher Kelley (Shelly), Patty Reaver (Nate), Lorianne Gies (Dane), Katie Peters-Page (Bernard) and Adam Peters.
