Kenneth E. Kline, 89, of Palmyra, formerly of Myerstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Palmyra Senior Living. He was born Wedesday April 12, 1933 to the late Raymond and Grace Kline. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Shirley M. (Muth) Kline.
Kenneth was a truckdriver for Jones Motors and then later retired from New Penn Motor Express. When he was wasn’t driving down the highway in an 18-Wheeler he would be traveling in his camper, traveling to Myrle Beach, or spending time with his grandchildren. He was active with the Goodwill Fire Company and the Ambulance Association. More than anything he was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his daughters: Cynthia Blauch and husband Lynn and Susan Kline; 10 grandchildren; 15 grandchildren; and a brother, Curtis Kline and wife Evelyn. He is predeceased by his siblings: Jane Kriner, Stanley Kline, and Delbert Kline, and son, Douglas Kline.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 3PM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Reverend Douglas Smith officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 2PM until the start of the service. Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2022 at 1:30PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors.
