Kenneth William Hahn

Kenneth William Hahn, 79, of Hershey, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his residence in Conewago Township.  He was born Sunday, November 24, 1935 in Palmerton, PA to the late William and Mabel (Eckhart) Hahn.  He was married to Leona B. (Charnick) Hahn on July 10, 1982.

A Veteran, Ken proudly served with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.  He retired from Verizon (formerly Bell Telephone Co.) in 1991.  He will be remembered as being a man of many interests and abilities which included playing numerous musical instruments, flying his own classic airplanes as well as being a gifted gardener and bird watcher.  He was also a talented golf and tennis player, enjoyed riding his Harley Davidsons motorcycles, hiking, being outdoors and hunting with his sons.  Most of all, Ken will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

In addition to his wife of nearly 33 years, he will be lovingly missed by two sons: R. Mark Hahn and Jeff S. Hahn, both of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three siblings: Willard Hahn and wife Kathy, Gladys Beck and Nancy Clapper, all of South Carolina as well as his extended family and caring friends.  He was predeceased by a son, Daniel B. Hahn who died on February 23, 1999.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, April 10, 2015 in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
