Kelsey Lea (Kennedy) Hoover, 35, of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 20, 2025 at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was born Saturday, November 18, 1989 in Lebanon to Timothy P. and PamMarie (Fertig) Kennedy of Middletown. She is survived by her loving husband of ten years, Michael P. Hoover.

She graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 2008 and was pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Lebanon Valley College. She had a God-given gift for serving and caring for others, which was reflected in her work as a youth mentor at the Lebanon YMCA and as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aid and CVS, where she was deeply loved by her customers. She was also employed by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts as a security officer at Hersheypark.

She was a devoted member and faithful servant of Hill United Church of Christ, where she joyfully shared her voice in the choir and took an active role in church life. She had a passion for life’s simple joys—she loved her cats, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and supporting the Hershey Bears. Above all, she lived her life as a devoted servant of her risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is survived by a brother, Timothy A. Kennedy of Middletown; a sister, Kassandra L. Stoner and partner Amber Grodensky of Palmyra; maternal grandfather, Allen Fertig; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Mary (Diener) Kennedy; maternal grandmother, Suzanne (Feary) Fertig.
