Kay E. (Whitcomb) Mahlon
August 19, 1943 — February 10, 2025
Kay E. Mahlon, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. Born in Williamstown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Catherine (George) Whitcomb. She was the loving wife of 52 years to the late Robert John Mahlon, who passed in 2020.
Kay worked as an LPN for a nursing home in Northhampton for much of her life. She was a member of the Lehigh Valley Rock & Mineral club. Kay enjoyed the Hallmark channel and Disney, reading, and coloring. She was an avid dog lover. Above all, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.
Kay is survived by her two children, Debra M. Duh (Darin), and Michael A. Mahlon (Brandi); four grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, Neala, and Noah; and great granddaughter, Elsie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Whitcomb, along with her husband and parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2PM at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A visitation will be held from 1PM until the time of service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
