Kay L. (Kauffman) Horst

Kay L. (Kauffman) Horst, 56, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday, December 7, 2018 at her home in Elizabethtown.  Born Wednesday, February 28, 1962 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Rachel A. (Mummau) Kauffman and the late Arthur D. Kauffman.  She was married to Edward L. Horst on October 1, 2010.

In addition to her husband, Kay is survived by her mother, Rachel, of Manheim; two sisters, Patricia Hamilton (Michael), of Mount Joy and Sharon Nissley (William), of Mount Joy; a brother, Todd A. Kauffman (Holly), of Manheim; a step-daughter, Amanda Hess, of Maytown; an aunt, Mae Cooper, of Elizabethtown, who Kay cared for as well as Kay’s extended family and caring friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at West Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 740 Greentree Road, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 with Pastor Mick Allen officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Private burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543
