Kathy L. (Sweigart) Mecca
Kathy L. (Sweigart) Mecca, 52, of Annville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25 2015, surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Tuesday, January 29, 1963 in Lebanon, PA to John S. and Arlene F. (Wine) Sweigart.
Kathy attended Living Waters Chapel, Lebanon. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader. Most importantly Kathy was a loving mother, daughter and friend.
She is survived by a daughter, Gina T. Gutshall, of Middletown, PA; a son, Tony J. Mecca, of Annville; her parents John and Arlene Sweigart, of Lebanon; four brothers, Jeffrey D. Sweigart, and wife Susan, of Annville, John L. Sweigart, and wife Mary, of Oman, Jerry L. Sweigart, and wife Angel, of Mount Joy and Joseph M. Sweigart, and companion Kate Gaffney, of NYC, NY as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and caring friends. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Caitlin Mecca.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 2nd, 2015 at 11 AM at Living Waters Chapel, 1900 Jay Street, Lebanon, PA 17046 with Pastor D. Dean Cover officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the church on Sunday and also at the church on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Gingrich Mennonite Cemetery, Lebanon, PA.
