Karen M. (Evans) Seiser

Karen M. Seiser, 60, of York, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at WellSpan York Hospital. Born Wednesday, December 14, 1960 in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Eugene L. and Alice Jean (Bello) Evans. She was married 28 years to Vernon R. Seiser.
Karen was a special education assistant at Central York Middle School. She attended the University of Maryland, studying chemistry, and was previously an assistant vice president at Odenton Federal Bank in Maryland. Karen was a stay-at-home mom after daughter Emily was born. Karen enjoyed hiking, fishing, and reading.
She is survived by her husband Vernon and her daughter Emily M. Seiser, both of York.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held on Saturday, September 11th at Longstown United Methodist Church, 2975 Carol Road, York, PA 17402 at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. Visitation with family will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
