June Ellen (Nye) Dunkleberger, 87, of Palmyra, passed away with family by her side on Thursday, October 24, 2013 in The Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born Sunday, June 6, 1926 in Hershey to the late Leroy and Mable (Evans) Nye. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul W. Dunkleberger, Sr., in 1997.
June loved to be out and about, going on day trips, to rummage sales, and enjoying meals at local restaurants. She enjoyed watching movies and listening to her favorite country songs. Most importantly she was a loving family woman.
She is survived by 6 sons, Leroy of Lebanon, Eugene and wife Crystal Shaffer of Palmyra, Paul Jr. and wife June of Meyerstown, John of Lebanon, Alan of Egypt, and Jesse of Lebanon; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ed Nye of Palmyra.
A Graveside service will be held Sunday, October 27th at 2:00 PM at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra with Reverend Samuel Fry officiating.
