JUNE M. ALDINGER

June M. Aldinger, 53, of Conewago Township, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 4, 1960 in Hershey, PA to Stanley R. and Eleanor (Hallman) Long.

She was a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. And worked for Kirman Eye Associates. Later she worked at and managed restaurants in the area. Most recently being a waitress at Martin's Country Kitchen.

Growing up on the farm June was involved in 4-H.

She was an active member of Conewago Church of the Brethren, where she assisted with various meals and activities. She was a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Dinner at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home and at the Elizabethtown Fair.

June enjoyed flower gardening, baking, trips to the mountains, listening to music, reading and spending time with her grandsons. She loved life and was rarely seen without a smile on her face.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband Timothy V. Aldinger, her daughter Alyssa M. Jockers and her husband Aaron of Elizabethtown, her son Travis D . Aldinger and his wife Andrea of Etters, her sister Amy R. Bomgardner and her husband Jay of Hershey, her two brothers Ty R. Long and his wife Tracy L. of Hershey, Todd A. Long of Hershey, her two grandsons Corbin Jockers and Mason Jockers, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm (Noon) on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Conewago Church of the Brethren with Pastor Scott Cooper officiating.  Burial will be in Shenk’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10am until 12pm (Noon) on Tuesday in the church.
