Judith “Judy” K. (Kirkman) Snavely passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026. She was born in Harrisburg on July 11, 1942. Raised in Middletown, PA Judy grew up enjoying swimming and being a lifeguard. In her teenage years she learned to sew, putting that skill to good use to sew clothing for her beloved daughter Elizabeth and her dolls!

During her junior high years, Judy was blessed to meet Ron Snavely, they dated for ten years as they both were graduated from Middletown High School and Millersville State Teachers College. Eventually they were married in a long 62 year loving and supportive life of quilting, and wood working. Graduate School at the University of Kentucky is where Ron earned his doctorate in Education and Judy earned her masters degree in medical lbrary science. In the later years with Ron’s unwavering love, support, and help, Judy opened Snavely and Snavely, her successful real estate company which was maintained until their retirement. Judy enjoyed dancing the tango and Chacha. Gardening was a hobby Judy participated in with her son-in-law, David Kantner as a way to express her color and design ideas while showing her love for the exotic. Judy appreciated red tulips, orchids, and her bory, hennen, and niger bamboo forest!

Services will be private. Burial will be held at the Middletown Cemetery, Middletown.
