Juanita (Riddle) Fanus Popp

Juanita Fanus Popp, 80, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Unicoi, TN, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Ruth (Gouge) Riddle. She was the wife of the late Wilmer J. Popp who died in1996. Her first husband, Milton J. Fanus died in 1986.
Juanita was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Elizabethtown. She retired 1993 from M&M Mars, Elizabethtown where she was employed as a supervisor in the cafeteria. She previously worked in the office at the former Savoy Shoe Company.
Juanita enjoyed craft shows, woodcrafts, floral arranging and spending time with her family. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 407, Elizabethtown.
She is survived by nine children: John Fanus, Elizabethtown; Kenneth (Sally) Fanus, Elizabethtown; Gary (Bonnie) Fanus, Elizabethtown; Judy Cummings, Elizabethtown; Patty Ruhs, Elizabethtown; Sandra (Clifford) Barr, Elizabethtown; Terry (Pauline) Fanus, Elizabethtown; Michael (Linda) McGee, Manheim; Nancy (David) Kreiser, Elizabethtown and daughter in law Margie Fanus Ammerman, Middletown; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Grace Brethren Church, 305 Anchor Road, Elizabethtown, PA at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Interment will take place in Goods Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Brethren Church.
