Joyce Smedley Reynolds 1931 – 2023
On Good Friday, April 7, 2023, Joyce passed away of natural causes at age 91. She was a resident of York, PA most of her life and most recently lived at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA.
Born on August 30, 1931 in Mt. Joy, PA, Joyce was the daughter of Ethel and Ross Smedley.
Joyce graduated with a BA from Gettysburg College in 1961. She worked for Wagman and Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm.
Joyce was initiated into the Order of the Eastern Star in 1951, and served as the Worthy Matron of Starlight Chapter #508 in 1965 and White Rose Chapter #360 in 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rual Reynolds, and her infant brother Wayne Smedley.
