Joyce P. (Roberts) Christ

Joyce Patricia (Roberts) Christ, 85, of Annville, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, November 17, 2016 in her home.  She was born Friday, July 31, 1931 in Johnstown to the late Clovus and Verda (Shaver) Roberts.  She is survived by her loving husband Donald George Christ.

Joyce was a retired Registered Nurse.  She enjoyed going to Annville Fitness’s Silver Sneakers and was a faithful member of Palm Lutheran Church.  She loved to sew and care for her animals.  Most importantly Joyce loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by 2 sons, Timothy Christ and wife Cherye and David Christ and wife Carol; and 2 faithful k-9 companions, Cristie and Rudy.  She was predeceased by 3 siblings, Jay and jack Roberts and Jacquelyn McKillip.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 11 AM at Palm Lutheran Church, 11 W. Cherry St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Dr. John D. Merkel officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
