Joseph “Joe” Rinko, 79, of Londonderry Twp., died Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center surrounded by family. He was born in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania on December 25, 1942 to the late John and Anna Rinko. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie (Scheetz) Rinko for more than 52 years. He was retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot and a member of Bressler Bible Church. Joe was extremely hardworking. He was always making a list and planning the next “project”. He had great mechanical skills and the ability to fix anything. Joe was always using his talents to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. After retirement he continued doing the Lord’s work and loved spending time with family and friends, especially his “grandbabies”. He is survived by his loving wife; two daughters: Lora Gomboc (Robert) and Daniell Burkholder (Bradley); a brother, John A. of King George, VA; grandchildren: Sarah, Robert Joseph (RJ), and Ainsley. He was a devoted husband, a proud Pappy, and the best Dad ever. Contributions in Joe’s memory can be made to Penn State Health Heart & Vascular Institute, Development and Alumni Relations, MC HS20 P.O. Box 852 Hershey, PA 17033-0852 or www.pennstatehealth.org/giving.
