Joseph Samuel Winters, 76, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Born August 1, 1948 in Clarksville, TN, he was the son of the late Samuel Johnson and Mary Jo (Gootee) Winters. He was married 43 years to the late Linda M. (Maurer) Winters, who passed away in 2018.
Joseph loved his kitties. He enjoyed traveling, especially to New York City. Joseph was an actor, and loved his job, along with watching live shows. Above all, he loved his grandkids, and taking them to see baseball games.
He is survived by a son, David J. Winters and wife Kelly of Bainbridge; a daughter, Susan L. Brownawell; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
