Joseph L. Geesey Jr.

Joseph L. Geesey Jr, 65, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. He was born February 6, 1959, in Lancaster to the late Joseph L. Sr. and MaryAnn (Rice) Geesey.
After high school Joseph started his working career at US Aluminum, he later ended his working career for Turkey Hill Dairy. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycle, spending time with family and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a member of Foresters, MBA Marietta, SBA Marietta, Post 466 American Legion and rode with the Sons of American Legion Riders.
He is survived by a two daughters, Abby Hyser and Amy Geesey and son, Joseph L Geesey III. A sister, Beatrice and grandchildren: Justin Hyser, Alaina Neal and Blake Bigler. He was predeceased by siblings, Sherri, Elissia, Rusty, Merle and MaryAnn.
Family and friends are invited for viewing on Thursday, March 28th from 11 AM to 12 PM at Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM with Pastor Geib officiating. Burial will be private per family request.
