John R. Nauman

John R. Nauman, 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. He was born on Wednesday, October 2, 1940 to the late Victor and Lydia (Reed) Nauman. He is predeceased by his loving wife since December of 2023, Julia A. (Robbins) Nauman.

John worked at RCA, and JB Athletic Shoes, and later retired from Herr & Sacco. He was a carpenter who could build or fix anything. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, spending time at his cabin or the beach. More than anything he was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by his daughters: Robin Cicero and husband Michael and Nicole Lato and husband Jason; grandchildren; Heather Butz and husband Dan, Michael Cicero, Jr., and fiancé Ashley Sellers, Cooper Lato and Isabelle Lato; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ethan, and Nathan Butz, and Peyton, Ella, and Tucker Cicero; and a brother, Ken Nauman. He is predeceased by his siblings, Victor “Whitey” Nauman, Sterling Nauman, Gene Nauman, and Dorothy “Dottie” Martin.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11AM at the West Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 740 Greentree Rd., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A time of viewing will be held from 10AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at West Green Tree Cemetery, Elizabethtown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
