John H. Enterline

John Heistand Enterline, 90, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. He was born June 24, 1924 in Elizabethtown to the late Willis K. and Mary S. (Heistand) Enterline. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie Ann (Schuldt) Enterline.
He is survived by five children, Lou Ann Mylott and husband John, Lory Jo Hess and husband Rick, J. Scott Enterline and wife Michelle, all of Lancaster, Thomas L. Enterline, Savannah, GA, and Linda K. Smith of Mountville; and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by two siblings, Robert H. Enterline and Mildred E. Hocke.
John was a graduate of Hershey High School and a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and worked in industry and education until he retired.
A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Christ Church United Church of Christ, Elizabethtown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Village Hospice, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, in memory of John H. Enterline.
