John Ronald Betz

John Ronald Betz, 60, of Annville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his home.  He was born Thursday, December 27, 1962 in Lebanon to the late Paul and Sandra Betz.  He is survived by his loving wife, Robin (Mohn) Betz, with whom he would have celebrated 34 years of marriage on April 15, 2023.

He was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan and collected all things related to his beloved Steelers.  He was the family grill master and took great joy in cooking steaks and burgers for his family and friends.  His larger than life smile and laugh matched is physical stature, always welcoming with something funny to say.  He loved building things around the house, going to yard sales, and making holiday meals for his family.  Most of all he loved his family and cherished his grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by four children, Tina A. McClucas and husband Adam of Hummelstown, Tonya L. Betz and significant other Charles Livering of Hershey, Sandra Betz of Lebanon, and Kerry Boltz, Jr. of Palmyra; five grandchildren, Lahara McClucas, Raiden McClucas, Faith Livering, Hope Livering, and Charles Livering, III.  He was predeceased by a son, John R. Betz, Jr.

Family and friends are invited for viewing on Monday, April 17th from 5 to 7 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
