Jodi K. (Carpenter) Barrick

Jodi Kathryn (Carpenter) Barrick, 51, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence.  She was born Saturday, December 12, 1964 in Lebanon to the late Donald Charles, Sr. and Ellenor (Bowman) Carpenter.  She is survived by her loving husband Douglas Wayne Barrick.

Jodi was a 1982 graduate of Cedar Crest High School and a 1984 graduate from Central Penn Business School.  She worked as a travel agent for 20 years which fueled her passion for traveling.  She also was employed by Pinnacle Health in the Radiology department.  Jodi was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.  She was an avid San Francisco 49’ers fan and loved animals and plants.  Most importantly she was a loving wife, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by a sister Laurie Matters and her children Reegan and Ashley; a sister Lisa Fisher wife of Dave and their son Josh; a brother Donald Carpenter, Jr. husband of Tricia and their children Heather, Holly, and Nick; and 2 faithful feline companions, Montana and Tequila.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 1 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon 17046 with Pastor Gretchen Ierien officiating.  Family and friends are invited for a period of visitation from noon until time of the service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.
