Joanne M. (Sload) Keck

Joanne M. Keck, 88, of Elizabethtown, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She went peacefully while being surrounded by her family. She was born on Sunday, May 5, 1935 in Maytown, PA to the late Abram D. and Verna M. (Felker) Sload. She is now reunited in heaven with her late husband of 68 years, Elmer R. Keck.
Joanne was retired from Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. She most loved spending time with her loving and growing family. She always looked forward to her monthly sibling suppers and her Saturday outings with her sisters.
Joanne is survived by her three children: Brenda K. Maines of Elizabethtown, Randy R. Keck and wife Sharon of Bainbridge, and Kelly L. Kready and husband William of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and seven siblings. She is predeceased by two brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11 AM at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery.
