Joan E. (Ellis) Stein
January 18, 1931 — March 29, 2018
Joan E. Stein (nee Ellis), 87, of Doylestown, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Sunday, January 18, 1931 in Philadelphia, she was a 1948 graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls.
She is survived by her loving husband Charles G. Stein, Jr.; and sons: J. Eric (Jennifer); Kenneth W. (Patty) and Thomas A. (Renee).
Joan was very active in whatever church she attended. She served as President of Church Council at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Doylestown and chaired various committees as well.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment will be private.
