Joan La-Von Pierce

Joan La-Von “Joanie” Pierce, 70, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Ray R. and Marjorie E. (Townsley) Pierce.

Joanie was a fun, loving, and caring woman, who always helped anyone in need. She enjoyed ceramics, coloring, and taking shopping trips to Boscov’s.

She is survived by her two sisters, Karen M Snyder (Steven), and Darlene E. Luciani (Peter); nieces and nephews, Nicole Costatino (Dan), Jeremy Snyder (Natalie), and Candice Luciani; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella Costatino, Stephanie Costatino, and Bennett Snyder.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. A private burial will be held in Elizabethtown Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown, PA.
