Joan E. (Hess) Morgan

Joan E. “Joanie” (Hess) Morgan, 73, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  She was born the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Kreiner) Hess.

Joan graduated high school and furthered her academic career taking college courses. She spent her working career doing many different jobs that she thoroughly enjoyed such as a Winston Girl, Elizabethtown’s Local Ambulance, EKG technician and Elizabethtown College. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music as well as playing the piano, line dancing and taking care of her family. Joan also had a great love of animals, especially her fur babies. She was a selfless loving person who will be missed greatly. Even in her own struggles she continued to take care of everyone else.

She is survived by her children, Tyann Bailey and Jesse Morgan; grandchildren, Nicholas Bailey and Lindsey Stevenson; great grandchildren, Blake, Payton and Jaxson; siblings, Barry Hess, Steve Hess, Mike Hess, Craig Hess, Chris Hess, Bonita Brockett, Betty Huffman, Karen Shanafelter and Tracy Lee; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited for visitation Friday, February 23rd from 10 to 11 AM at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be private per family request.
