Joan Govan
July 3, 1938 — December 9, 2020
Joan Govan, 82, of Annville, passed away peacefully at the MS Hershey Medical Center, Hershey on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was born Sunday, July 3, 1938 to the late Gerald William and Grace (Adelaide) Govan.
Joan spend most of her teaching career in San Diego. She also taught in Massachusetts, Okinawa, Germany, and Colorado. After retiring in Annville, PA, she enjoyed playing golf at Lebanon Country Club. She also enjoyed volunteer work at the Hershey Food Bank and All Saints Episcopal Church. She always looked forward to traveling to her home state of Massachusetts to visit her family.
She is survived by her sister: Judy Murtagh; several nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother John Govan.
