Joan Marie Bame

Joan Marie Bame, 78, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John J. Bame and Betty J. (Fox) Hair.
Joan enjoyed bowling. She frequented the Palmyra Bowling Center and participated in the Dutchman Tournaments. Joan could often be found reading Danielle Steel books, or completing puzzles.
She is survived by two brothers, Terry L. Hair of Fredericksburg, VA and Richard Hair (Joanne) of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Donna Keller of Middletown, PA and Eileen Johns of Myrtle Beach, SC; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Barry Hair, along with her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 8, 2025 at 11AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, PA 17078. Family and friends are invited to view from 10AM until the time of service.
