Jessica Jean (Saltsgiver) Phelan, 23, of Elizabethtown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
She was born on Friday, September 13, 1991 in Altoona, PA to Edgar E. & Robin A. (Lear) Saltsgiver.
Jessica was a graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School, Class of 2009, where she was an active member of the music department and the marching band. She was a self-proclaimed band geek; she was a very talented musician and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Jessica was the assistant manager at Turkey Hill located on Hanover Street in Elizabethtown, she loved her job and talking with the customers.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Timothy S. Phelan, a brother Sky L. Saltsgiver of Elizabethtown, her father & mother –in-law Scott and Eileen Phelan of Bangor, PA along with her extended family. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents as well as an uncle.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory of Elizabethtown. Burial will be in Good’s Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
Viewing will be from 11am until 1pm on Monday in the funeral home.
