Jerry Good, 74, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Angel House Hospice in Whiteville, NC after years of courageously battling the effects of Agent Orange.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan; his 2 sons: Jeremy Good and Michael Good (Teresa), grandson Vincent Good, Isaac Good and Isabelle Good; 2 Step-daughters: Liane Donnison, and Cheryl Tschopp (Butch). Grandchildren: Jessica Wiest (Bryan), Max Parker, Jeremy Daniel (Kay), Kristy Daniel, and Nicholas Brown (Haven), Great-Grandchildren: Kira Wiest, Adalyn Wiest and Jaxon Daniel. Jerry was predeceased by his Father, Alvin Good and Mother, Betty (Good) Pushkar. Also surviving is his brother Gary Good, Step-sister Ann Zimmerman (Stephen), Stepbrother George Pushkar (Kelly) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry was employed at H & R Block; Commonwealth of PA Derry Township; and retired from Lebanon VAMC in Lebanon, PA. He was Past President of Annville/Cleona JC; Past President of Pennsylvania State JCI Senate and Past President PSEA Derry Township. He is member of VFW and American Legion. He served 7 years in the US Navy. During his Navel tenure he was stationed in Viet Nam in 1968 and 1969. He was exposed to Agent Orange there. He retired after 20 years serving in the Army National Guard; 8 years were with 121 Transportation Company, 12 years were with 28th Division Finance Company, Lebanon, PA. He loved baseball. His favorite pastime was watching his son, Michael, when he was younger, play baseball. Years later he liked watching his grandson, Vincent also playing baseball. He enjoyed going out to eat to various restaurants in PA and Myrtle Beach area. He especially enjoyed joking with the employees and regulars.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 at 1:30 PM. Viewing will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Burial with Military Honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
