Jere D. Proctor, Jr.

Jere D. Proctor, Jr., 62, of Palmyra, died on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Prospect Park Health & Rehabilitation. Born in Hershey, he was the son of the late Jere D. Proctor, Sr., and Ruth E. (Myers) Proctor.

He worked in customer service for a communication’s company. He enjoyed programming and working on computers and electronics. He will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle man.

He is survived by his son Kyle S. Proctor, of Mt. Joy, grandson Collin Proctor, siblings Gary L. and Dean S. Proctor, and Mary E. Huber, and aunts Margaret M. Myers, Janet Lehman, and Lorrene Blouch.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Palm Lutheran Church, 11 W. Cherry St., Palmyra, PA 17078, with Reverend Dr. John D. Merkel officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 12-1PM prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra. 838-9211.
