Jeffrey L. Young, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 69. Born June 29, 1953, in Hershey, he was the son of the late Theodore Jr. & Marjorie (Smith) Young.
In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, they always came first. Jeff was the man everyone knew they could count on. He was a man of many trades “he could fix anything”. Jeff spent his working career as a contractor and knew how to do it all. When he wasn’t with family he enjoyed reading, antiques, and watching John Wayne movies.
Jeff is survived by his daughters Sherry Boucher and Melissa Shirk and husband Phillip; Grandchildren: Katelyn, Jeffrey and Maddelyn Boucher and Nathan and Emily Shirk; Great grandchildren: Maliyah, Jameson, and Theodore Boucher; Siblings: Gene Young and Patricia Young; Niece: Alisha Kleinfelter; Great niece: Alexis; Great nephews: Caiden and Rylin.
We welcome you to celebrate Jeffrey’s life on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home. 25 W. Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. A viewing with family begins at 10:00 AM until the funeral services begin at 11:00 AM. Internment will be at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren. 335 E. Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033.
