Jeannine (Brubaker) Gish

Jeannine (Brubaker) Gish, 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown on Thursday, July 18, 2024. She was born on Monday, August 13, 1934 to the late Walter F. and Dorothy L. (Walters) Brubaker. She is survived by her loving husband, of 70 years, Jay “Roy” Gish.
Jeannine was a lifetime member of the St. Paul’s UMC where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a business owner of a handcrafted Moravian star company and was also an avid gardener. More than anything she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Sonya K. Gish and Scott J. Gish and wife Adriane; grandchildren, Erica, Vanessa, and Natalie Gish; great grandson, Otto Elsing; and a brother, W. Dale Brubaker.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11 AM at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to her church, St. Paul’s UMC, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
