Jeannette “Jan” Marie (Fry) Neiman, 75, of Palmyra, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Harrisburg. She was born Sunday, January 9, 1938 in Harrisburg to the late John K. and Edith E. (Hiler) Fry, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, who she married in Key West, FL in June 1956, Edward C. Neiman.
She graduated from John Harris High and was employed by Bell Telephone, Manpower, Harrisburg Community Theatre, and the City of
Harrisburg
. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, sing in the Derry Street U.M. Choir, acting, traveling, and family picnics. Jan was known for her love of family and to speak her mind.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Saltzer and her husband Ken of Palmyra; two grandchildren, Ashley and Michael Stine of Palmyra; a step granddaughter, Kristin Spangler of New Cumberland; two brothers, John Fry, Jr. and Bill Fry; two sisters, Martha Fry and Dorothy Blain. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann Stahr.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8

at Noon at the West Shore Baptist Church, 2025 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011 with Pastor Dr. Gary Bruland officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 11 AM until time of the service at the church. Private burial will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
