Jeanette M. (Mattern) Moore

Jeanette M. Moore, age 94 of Elizabethtown passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Masonic Village Health Center.

She was the daughter of late Harry V. and Rose M. Mattern and the widow of William T. Moore, Sr. who passed away in 1997 after 591/2 years of marriage.

Jeanette had many jobs over the years including being a homemaker and cafeteria and sewing factory worker. Jeanette was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Elizabethtown, and also a member of the Elizabethtown Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to read, play cards and spend time with her family. Jeanette was a resident of the Masonic Village for 13 years and enjoyed the staff and residents very much.

Jeanette is survived by her son, William T. Moore, Jr. and his wife Donna (Kaylor) of Elizabethtown, a daughter Carol A. Stark and her husband Donald of Elizabethtown, five grandchildren Matthew, Kevin, Alexis, Mindy, Eric and six great grandchildren Taylor, Garrett, Kaya, Cree, Joshua, Lydia and also numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory of Elizabethtown. Viewing will be from 10am until 11am on Saturday in the funeral home.
