Jean A. (Napp) Bordner
Jean Arlene (Napp) Bordner, 85, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, February 12, 2016. She was born Saturday, September 27, 1930 in Dalmatia, PA to the late Edward Napp and Mary (Rickert) Napp-Gutshall. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Harry Bordner, Sr. in 2007.
Jean loved children and volunteered at Pine Street Elementary School for many years. She also taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was an avid doll collector and a great animal lover, especially cats. Most importantly Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by 3 sons, Harry “Sam” Jr., Timothy (Kathy), Michael (Darlene); 3 daughters, Elaine Lebo (Dennis), Linda Shatto (Allen), Karen Day (Jim); 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and a sister, Norma Bohner.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow the funeral service in Broadview Cemetery, Hershey.
