Jay Marlin Hilsher
January 10, 1944 — February 13, 2025
Jay Marlin Hilsher, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster. He was born January 10, 1944 to the late Harry and Anna Mae (Risser) Hilsher. He is survived by his loving wife, of almost 58 years, Janet (Huntzberger) Hilsher.
Marlin was a carpenter and supporter of the Faith Bible Church Children’s Ministry. More than anything he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jody Hilsher and wife DeeDee, and Janel Clouser and husband Matt; grandchildren, Carley, Carter, Ellie and husband Karson, Eli, Jackson, Maggie, Haley, and Anna; and siblings, Don Hilsher and wife Millie, and Nancy Epps and husband Jim.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 12 PM at Faith Bible Church, 2075 Harrisburg Ave., Mount Joy, PA 17552. A time of viewing will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. Burial will be private at Conoy Brethren in Christ Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Faith Bible Church Children’s Ministries, 2075 Harrisburg Ave., Mount Joy, PA 17552.
