Janet L. Ruhl

Janet L. Ruhl, 65, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025. Born on April 3, 1960, she was the daughter of Ruth L. Ruhl and the late Lester G. Ruhl.
Janet graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School, Class of 1978. She worked at Lancaster Mennonite Conference and Everence Financial. She was a faithful member of Rissers Mennonite Church. Above all, Janet was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Janet is survived by her three siblings, Arlene Heistand and husband Willie, Nelson Ruhl and wife Elaine, and Nevin Ruhl and wife Janis; 11 nieces and nephews; and 5 great-nieces and great-nephews; along with her mother.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, April 18 from 6-8PM at Miller-Finkenbinder Family Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 10:30AM at Rissers Mennonite Church, 8360 Elizabethtown Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A second time of visitation will be held from 9:30am until the time of service, in the church. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
