Janet Marie Reed

Janet Marie Reed, 93, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024. She was born February 27, 1931, in Lebanon to the late Harold and Esther (Patschke) Barr.
Janet graduated from Steelton High School in 1949 and retired from The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center where she was a departmental secretary. She loved her animals especially horses and in her free time, enjoyed taking them for trail rides as well as showing them. Traveling was also a big part of her life, where she traveled the USA by car as well as going to Africa and Alaska.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Reed, Jr.; Two daughters, Vicki Perez and Linda Zenor; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Dennis Barr and Jack Long.
Burial will be private per family request.
