Jane E. (Roberts) Longenecker

Jane Elizabeth (Roberts) Longenecker, 71, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Lancaster General Hospital.  She was born Wednesday, August, 2, 1944 in Huntingdon to the late Chester and Betty (Locke) Roberts.

Jane was an avid Philadelphia sports teams fan.  She enjoyed cheering on the Phillies, Flyers, and the Eagles.  She loved her faithful canine companions Snook and Molly.  Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Soltani; 2 grandchildren, Matthew Soltani and wife Heather and Meg Soltani; and 6 siblings, Russell Roberts, Herb Roberts, Mary Brennaman, Jose Hinton, Lorma Strohm, and Beverly Hinkle.  She was predeceased by 2 sons, David and Glen Dysard; and 3 siblings, Chester Roberts, Jr., John Roberts, and Ruthann Hollibaugh.

A graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family in Elizabethtown Mennonite Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown.
