Jane Virginia (Early) Kennelly

Jane Virginia (Early) Kennelly, 90, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  She was born Saturday, April 18, 1925 in York, PA to the late Cecil E. and Pauline L. (Smith) Early.  She was married to Joseph T. “JK” Kennelly, Jr. for over 15 years.  JK died on March 17, 2010.

During the 1950’s and 1960’s Jane was active in the York Little Theater.  She was also a member of St. James Lutheran Church and Choir in Philadelphia.  She served as President in the Women’s Club of Frankford and more recently, was a member of the Women’s Chorus at Masonic Village.  Above all, Jane will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She will be lovingly missed by three sons: Jonathan M. Sullivan and wife Gail, of Red Lion, PA; Samuel E. Sullivan and wife Gayle, of Fairfield, CT; David S. Sullivan and wife Maureen, of Williamstown, NJ; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Bradford Early and wife, Linda, of Land-O-Lakes, FL; a sister, Nance Wishard and husband Milt, of Elizabethtown as well as Jane’s extended family and caring friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the Brossman Ballroom located in the Freemason Cultural Center at Masonic Village, 77 Freemason Drive, Elizabethtown, PA with The Reverend A. Preston Van Deursen officiating.  Closed casket visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.  Private Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
