James M. Richardson

James M. Richardson, 77, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 with his loving wife by his side.  Born February 21, 1939 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late William G. and Pauline (Zeiders) Richardson.  He was married to Barbara J. (Isenberg) Richardson on October 7, 1961.

Jim worked for Trojan Yacht, Lancaster for over 30 years and in 2001, he retired from G.G. Schmitt & Sons, Lancaster.  He was a charter member of the Rheems Athletic Association where he coached several championship football teams.  He was also a member of the Rheems and Elizabethtown Fire Companies.

In addition to his wife of over 55 years, he will be lovingly missed by six children: Tammy E. McNiss, wife of Bud, of Elizabethtown; Lori J. Deibert, wife of Gary, of Lebanon; Barbara M. Cassalia, wife of Ben, of Ottsville; Coreen A. Shetter, wife of Craig, of Elizabethtown; Bradley M. Richardson, husband of Sandra, of Elizabethtown and Vanessa L. Geesey, wife of Darren, of Elizabethtown.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren: Kyle, Morgan, Nick, Blake, Allyssa, Bryce, Jensen, Amanda and Jared and two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Naomi.

A viewing will be held from 4-6 PM on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.  Cremation will follow and burial will be private.  A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday at the Elizabethtown Moose Lodge, 18 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.

Flowers will be received at the funeral home.
