James Popp, Sr.

James Popp, Sr., 84, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Country Meadows of Hershey. He was born Sunday, November 20, 1938 to the late Joseph Popp, Sr., and Irene (Nye) Popp. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Darlene Faye (Lord) Popp.
James enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his grand and great grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: James Popp, Jr., and wife Tace, Brian Popp and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Adrianna, Ryan, Zachary, and Joseph; great grandchildren, Kelton and Declan; and siblings, Ronald Popp, Darlene Heisey, and Arlene Deimler. He is predeceased by his siblings, Joseph Popp, Jr., Robert Popp, Betty Batz, and Gloria Mellot.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
