James E. Keener

James E. Keener, 51, of East Petersburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 25, 2017 at his mother’s home in Middletown. Born Friday, September 30, 1966, he was the son of the late Jean L. (Fackler) Keener, who died a day later on December 26th and John S. “Jack” Keener who died in November 2002.
Jim is survived by a son: Joshua J. Keener of Mount Joy; a granddaughter Alysse Royer; a sister Deborah Wagner of Middletown; a brother Robert Keener (Sheila) of Elizabethtown; fiance’ Michele L. Quigley of East Petersburg and a step daughter Nicole Newswanger.
A funeral service will be held for both James and his mother on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
