Jacob F. Dell

Jacob F. “Jake” Dell, 82, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026. He was born on May 19, 1943 to the late Jacob Shaffer and Marion Isabel (Stein) Dell.

Jake enjoyed hunting and gun collecting. In his spare time, he was with friends and family or enjoying he latest gadgets and playing with technology. More than anything he was a loving father, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by his children, Stephen Dell, MD and Stephani Dell, MD; siblings, Donald Dell and wife Karen (Sisson), OH, Christine (Dell) Frenchek and husband Michael, Elizabethtown; nieces and nephews, Dawn Michelle Fein, Mark Dell, Scott Frenchek and wife Layla Olnick and Andrew Frenchek and wife Carrie Frenchek; great nephew, Levi Fein, son of Dawn.

A funeral service will be held on Friday May 8, 2026 at 1 pm at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of viewing will be held from noon until the start of the service. A second funeral will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11 am at C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home, 101 S. 4th St., Youngwood, PA 15697. A time of viewing will be held from 10 am until the start of the service. Burial will follow the service at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, PA.
