Jackie L. (Herr) Minick
December 3, 1953 — October 7, 2024
Jackie Lee Minick, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 at the Hershey Medical Center with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Formerly of Elizabethtown and recently moved to Palmyra, she was born December 3,1953 in Lancaster County to John and Leona (Morris) Herr. She was predeceased by her husband William “Butch” Minick who passed away March 27, 2024, they were married for 52 years.
She is survived by her two children Dean Minick of Elizabethtown and her daughter Janine Westenberger, wife of Henry Westenberger of Palmyra, four grandchildren, Jordan, Nicholas, Dakota and Riley. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Shumaker of Mount Joy. Her children and grandchildren were her proudest accomplishments and she loved them dearly.
She loved spending time with her dear friend, Cynthia Ebersole and talking to her sister every day on the phone. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, scary movies and spending as much time as possible with her family.
Service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
